


This presentation (followed with a Q&A period) will provide a brief overview
of Hexcel Corporation focusing on Hexcel’s strength in providing advanced
composite solutions. An overview of current carbon fiber history, future demand,
end use requirements and what the future may hold mid-term for carbon fiber
suppliers and customers will be covered. This will include an update on SBCF
technology ("stretch-broken carbon fiber"), continual aerospace
expansions, and the rapidly growing tank and pressure vessel winding business.
An outline of Utah’s growing base of advanced composite technologies
available for training and development will also be discussed.
Bio:
Brett Schneider is the Hexcel Plant Manager for Carbon Fiber in Utah and responsible for the global carbon fiber supply chain. He has 15 years in composite part design and manufacturing in marine, automotive, and aerospace markets with the last 8 years spent with Hexcel working in Wind and Carbon Fiber operations. He has a BSME from the University of Washington and an MBA from Westminster College, Utah.
